I started this puzzle (for me) very late - away with family over half term and usual time slots disappeared. Yes - it's Portuguese and not Dutch, in every reference book I've consulted since reaching civilisation.

Hi BigMac .......... I must admit this clue caused some confusion initially. However, although there have been a number of errors in the presentation of this crossword in recent times, it is probably still the best weekly GK puzzle available.
