Ready to book summer 07's holiday, but can't decide on Pefkos in Rhodes of Rethymnon in Crete??? Have you been to either, would prefer the more peaceful and better beach!

I been to both although Crete several years ago but Pefkos this year - it is ok but the other side by Rhodes Town more interesting Pefkos is small and you pretty much have to taxi to Lindos for any decent bar restaurants etc - Rehtymnon from what I remember also quite nice but not as scenic as Rhodes but defo the better side of Crete I was there about 10 years ago so may have changed If I had to go now would say Rhodes but not Pefkos Lindos or Rhodes Town

forgot to say beach in Pefkos is lovely and sandy beach at Rhodes town side is shingle so for beach and peace pefkos is quieter now than rethymnon 10 years ago so guess the answer to your question is Rhodes sorry went off on a tangent!
