I loved Hasbro's Cluedo- Fatal Illusion, but cannot find any more games like it - adventure mysteries where you get to wander around looking for clues without the threat that something may kill you and you have to start again. Can anyone recommend anything? Ta.

I deffinitely recomend the 'Broken Sword' series, will be exactly what your looking for. I'd start by playing the first one and working through the whole set because the stories develops which each game

i second the broken sword recommendation and im a 34 year old woman. I hate the fighting games and the mystery in BS is entertaining as well as mind boggling at times

Even though the following don't really meet your criteria, strictly speaking, I would recommend you try out this lot:

Animal Crossing (Nintendo DS). Apparently, a lot of female gamers are into this game. Its a nice, pleasant game in which you can find yourself immersed.

Brain Training on the DS is another. Its one of those games that keep your mind sharp.

Try Mario Kart DS, aswell. A lot of fun.

Finally, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney sounds like the sort of game you would like.
