Stitch a Photo

Hi, can anyone suggest where I could go to get a photo converted onto a cross stitch pattern, thought it would be something a bit different for a xmas present. Had a quick look about on the internet but was wondering if anyone out there had any recommendations and also whether they actually look anything like the photo once finished!? Thanks in advance

hi ive got julie greenoff pattern creator that ive used a couple of times - its really easy to use and you can decide on how big/ how many colours/ what threads you want to use/ thread count, and it will print a chart in colour, black and white symbols and thread colour guide - i got mine as a free trial cd that i then paid to register - its really easy to use if you want to email me the picture i can send you a chart if you want - [email protected]
