what was the name of the crazy gremlin that attacked the mother with a knife.it has big eyes and a distinct high pitched laugh.it's not stripe,gizmo or brain.

I saw a movie many moons ago that sounds the same. Karen Black was in it. I can't remember the Gremlins name either unfortunately. I'm not even sure if it had a name as such. It was a wooden statue that, when it's necklace fell off it, came to life. But I worked with a gremlin-like woman whose name was in fact Gremlin! She was the most poisoness person I have ever met! Alike as is alike!
