Justin Timberlake - what IS the big deal?

I'm in my mid-40s and am well aware Justin Timberlake's music is not aimed at my age group. But I'm willing to bet that not a single one of his hits will be still played much or covered by other artists in decades to come. His music may be fine for kids of today, but I can't find anything remotely memorable about it. And I cringe at those corny boyband moves he does in his videos. Notice how shows like X-Factor ask their contenders to cover songs from the 50s, 60s, 70s and sometimes 80s. So little after that period has staying power. I know I sound like everyone's moaning Dad but I don't care. You tell me what hits of the last 16 years you seriously think will always be regarded as classics? And, if any of Timberlake's are among them, you're so wrong.
