Why does my cat go literally nuts when i scratch the fur patch between the base of her spine and her tail? She makes a really weird "ack-ack" like sound and pulls a weird face. Sometime she bites and sucks my other free hand or vigorously grooms ,and bites and licks herself . I have been told many different reasons from the fact that it could be that she cannot reach that area to scratch herself - and so it sends her nuts when you do it - to the fact that she has fleas there that the flea collar doesn't get rid of. I have seen weird behaviour from cats doing this before - but NEVER as severe as my cat reacts? Any ideas ye sage like web oracles?
yep my cat displays frankly revolting behaviour when she has that done to her so i stopped doing it. she also sucks my duvet and brings worms in as presents. i don't know why i put up with it really.
You are in fact turning your cat on! It's their erogenous zone! They raise their back and tail high in the air when you touch them here... simply giving you access to their nether regions! Mmmm lovely! My cat, Jazz, can't get enough of it hehe! then she does that padding thing with her paws, digging her claws in as she does it! That is a reaction they have from when they were kittens, massaging their mothers tummies to get the milk out easier! Quite cute really!
