LED showing error message " see user guide " E30. Don't have guide and can't find copy of guide for this model on the net. Anyone help please!!!!!

I'm sure if you contact Hotpoint you'll get a free copy of the instruction manual, as an act of goodwill by the firm.
have you tried turning it off at the wall and leaving it off for a little while my idesist quite often comes up with an error message so i turn off the eletric and leave it when i turn it back on its ok
ruthann could have a point. Modern washing machines are somewhat computerised and a 're-booting' might work.

This is one of their answers:

E30 indicates a motor fault. Most likely cause is worn down carbon motor brushes or a loose connection at the motor connection plug.
I guess all of our answers must have been wrong.

Ron, I believe you are right about that - seems a bit incondsiderate to me - but that is just one old lady's opinion :)
BBW....I agree fully with your hot point of view and, as a number of us have been put through the mangle and hung out to dry, I suggest we handwash this one!!
