I have a conservatory that I want to take down but the outer walls of the house have been covered in Artex which I want removing. Acid cleaning is a problem because of plastic windows and a light sand blast will take the brick face off, how is the best way to go about removing it

Are you sure it's artex ? It could be sand & cement render, as it's on an exterior wall.
If it's definitely Artex, then leave it ... once exposed to the elemnts it'll just fall off.

Thanks to both your replies, it is definetly Artex I'm just worried about it looking a mess when the conservatory comes down.If I scrap it off it will still be noticable
Have you checked that the Artex does not contain Asbestos?
Question Author
i will have to get someone in to check if it contains Asbestos or not, either way it is going to have to come off but god knows how much it will cost me to have it removed if it is asbestos
