My friend recently got paid - she gets 4 an hour and did 18 hours. She only got 72 and this isn't right as it should of been 76. If she were to say anything about this would it sound rude, if not what should she say? Thanks xx

It may just be an honest mistake on her employers behalf-on the other hand if they have tried to short change her even though the discprepancy may be small she would be well within her rights to say something. Your should be paid for the work you do, no question!
It is not rude to query the discrepency, whether its 4 or 40, you are talking about an unpaid hour of work.
She should (politely) question it immediately, otherwise she won't know how much she'll be paid next week. It may be the employer made a mistake with the number of hours; funny how the mistake is always in their favour. Suggest your friend also makes a note of her working hours.
Sexy, she doesn't have to be worried about being polite. Her employers are not doing her a favour by using her.
Your friend has agreed to sell her labour for a price, if she is not receiving what was agreed then it is totally reasonable to ask for the correct payment. She does not have to feel awkward about it.
By the way, if your friend is over 22, then the legally they have to pay her at least 4.50 an hour. If she is receiving less than that, then her employers are breaking the law.
