I rarely watched TV before mainly because things were on at awkward times (living in Germany, 1 hour ahead). However, with Sky+ you can record TV 24/7 and then watch them at your convenience. One of the best features is the series link which will automatically record every episode of whatever series you're interested in.
I agree with most of the people on here! Get the sky plus you will not regret it. I dont think I could live without. It is just much more convenient why of watching tv. The series link is particuarly useful if you watch soaps or programmes that are over a number of parts! You will never miss a thing from now on!
You just pay for the box and if you badger Sky well, they'll install it for free. Cost me about 100 but thats it, nothing else.
If you get Sky plus, I can say with conviction you'll throw your VCR away (if you haven't already) and wonder how you lived without it. It will revolutionise how you watch TV.
Do it.............and do it now

I agree with the comments shown - I had cable and my parents had Sky+ and my service was pathetic in comparison. I got a special ofer where I got the box for 49 and free installation.
You will already know the series link feature as ordinary sky has that too. Instead of you getting the programme to switch to the channel you want you hit the red R button for record as well as the series link and it will automaticlly record every episode of the series.
you can recod two things at once and watch terrestial or while recording two things at once you can watch something you've recorded earlier.
I introduced my aunt to Sky and got a free 160 Sky+ box the standard one is 80 - you have to pay a lot more for the 160 box at the start so I didn't bother but was very fortunate with the offer.
I couldn't lve without it as I tape my favourite series like lost, without a trace and Grey's anatomy using the series link. As my memory is bad it saves me fom missing episodes.
For 10 extra a month they offer you multiroom so you could have your ordinary sky in one room and the Sky+ in a second room. I'm on my own so I don't have it but my parents have this
