Update Drivers Utility

Does anyone know a free site/piece of software in which I can scan my computer so I can download the newest drivers (For free is possible!). I have just formatted it and always have this problem with my sound and network drivers and would really like a program that I can run and then download the drivers needed. Thankyou.

I don't know of any software that will do this automatically, but you could just save all the driver installation files to a separate folder so they're all ready for after you reformat.

Or you could bookmark all the download sites as the downloaded files will go "out of date" when new ones are available.

I'd say that the graphics cards is going to be the most frequently updates (perhaps every couple of months) then the sound card (2-3 months). Everything else along with firmware for CD/DVD drives I just update as and when I remember!
