Arizona works in the main on Mountain Standard time which is 7 hours behind UTC/GMT and 2 hours behind New York.
BUT - some of the Navajo reservations operate their own time zone, mainly in that they ignore daylight saving in the summer and will then be the 3 hours behind Norman states.
Ok, not to be nit-picky---The entire state of Arizona stays on standard time during the summer --as do parts of Ohio.
right now, here in Flagstaff, Arizona, we have 10:48 a.m. & a beautiful sunny day at a high of 63 degrees (low in the 20's) :)
