I think the one you mean is Janel Mahoney who plays Donna Moss in the West Wing

Thanks for that, I think you're right, but no-one can decide on her exact name! Having got your answer I found her also as Janel Moloney in another "Channel 4 Ident Advert", as they call it.

This one was for favourite swear words (she's 29 seconds in) and is the only one I can find a video clip of.
