Hi, anyone any ideas where I could get a 5 inch square cake tin. Can get bigger, but only need a small one as it is a trial run wedding cake, therefore needs to be cheap too incase i don't use again!

Go to http://www.lakelandlimited.co.uk/product.aspx/ !10973 this might be ideal as it has various possible combinations and seems reasonably cheap. Better if you have a store near to you as p&p may bump up the price if you order just that online.
Some cake shops/bakers will let you hire one.
Why can't you just make a larger size and cut the 5" square you need out of it - use a crumb coat, ice and decorate it like the rest of the cake - and have a snack with the rest? :)
I have got this particular tin and it is fantastic. You can use it for many different combinations of sizes but I wouldn't say it was cheap. It's 24.99. Why not go to a local cake decorating shop, you can hire any size tins. I hired a hectagonal one and I had it for 5 days and it cost 2. I'm sure you will have a similar facility near you
If you want a nice recipe for your wedding cake, I can let you have one. It is a Karen Goble recipe and is so simple. I have made rich fruit cakes for years and tried various different recipes. My favourite was a Delia Smith one but this Karen Goble one seems to be very popular with all who have tried it
