Best use of a song/music in film

what do you think is the best use of a song(most fitting) in a movie.

not just soundtrack,but the when a piece of music really affects the scene?

I love the use of the main theme to Sin City.

Counting Crows Colourblind as well in Cruel Intentions.

The classical music used in Shawshank Redemption when Andy locks himself in the wardens office is wonderful. Very moving and powerful piece.

i have to agree with Jenna on Counting Crow's colourblind in Cruel Intentions.

i also love the use of Queen's Dont stop me now in Shaun of The dead, i think that is a great piece of music for that scene.

The music used in Baz Luhrman's (sp) Romeo & Juliet when they are both stood by the fish tank in the toilets is very fitting aswell and a really nice piece of music.

Another film where i love the use of music is in Zach Snyders remake of Dawn Of the Dead, especially when it is Richard Cheese's version of Down with the Sickness.

Since space is a vacuum and therefore you can't hear anything, the classical music, notably J. Strauss 'The Blue Danube', is very fitting during the space scenes in 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" is also excellent in 'Apocalypse Now'

I'd agree with Kebab with the "ride of the Valkyries" in Apocalypse Now.
Also "stuck in the middle" by Stealers Wheel in Reservior Dogs during the "ear scene" - Just Bizarre.

The John Williams guitar solo in 'The Deer Hunter'...esp. the piece where Bob De Nero is hunting solo up in the mountains... see's a deer... takes aim... but has second thoughts and shoots wide, letting the deer run free...
