Science Fiction TV - Soldiers drugged to see aliens

I'm trying to remember an episode of a TV show ( poss Outer Limits or Twilight Zone ) . Essentially in the future Soldiers on a Planet are told to take "anti-sickness" pills against some terrible pandemic . Thay are fighting a War against an alien foe. One soldier fails to take his meds and starts seeing the aliens for what they are - humans from another country . The meds made the enemy look like aliens to encourage no mercy. He starts to tell people what he saw and is shot by Military Police.

Anyone know what series this was?

I thought the one i saw was in Black and White tho. Was thie ep based on an old outer limits ep?
