But think about it this way ... why would he change his password for this reason? That would just arouse suspicion (as it has). He should have just created a totally different email address that you don't know about.

Way to go Kerplunk... get her more paranoid that she already is.
All I'd have to say is, just ask the guy. If he doesn't tell you his password, give the reasons why he should. You won't be able to get into his account unless you know his password or secret question.
The only thing is if you do get the secret question right then you'd have to change the password. And if his password changes without him doing it then he'll know someone has been onto his account.

I can't believe you people, especially vhg, as usual you're not answering the question. Don't imagine guccilw was looking for Marj Proops, just an answer to a hotmail password question
Guccilw, if you're lucky the computer will be saving his/her conversations in a file in my docs called My Received Files/History, have a look see!

camioneur you answer is incorrect and will not help because the "My Received Files" folder will not contain any e-mails.
Simply because that folder is associated with MSN messenger for files that have been sent to the user and/or for conversations between 2 users, of which this setting can be turned off leaving the folder empty.

198x, before you contradict, get your facts right. My received files contains the history of all conversations but not emails, I never said it did, and I did say that if they were lucky, as in, it hadn't been switched off. Emails were never mentioned and my answer was not incorrect. If you don't switch off the saving of conversations then ALL your conversations will be saved in My received files
