I was plagued with toothache for years, as a child, then my teen years were spent with a bottle of clove oil nearby, and then into my twenties. When I decided enough was enough (with the toothache) and changed my dentist (because of moving home) I discussed with my new dentist what on earth I could do to stop the continual pain. It was suggested I start off by using an electric toothbrush, and some little fluffy floss sticks instead of ordinary floss, and since then I can honestly say I have never had toothache since. (some 20 years now) I put this down solely to the change of toothbrush, and can only think that it must do a really good job of hunting out all the rubbish between your teeth.
