Inappropriate!

About three times now, I've noticed parents call their baby/child, 'sexy'. What the hell is all that about? Is it now an acceptable term to use for a child? I hope not.

We have never dressed our children in the 'mini-adult' clothes that, unfortunately, seem to be everywhere. I agree with you and think it is a very strange way to describe a child as sexy.
That is a disgusting description. How anyone could have originated it is bad enough, but how other people have copied it and thought it trendy or fashionable is just not on. Meanings of words often change or become devalued through slang use, but 'sexy' to describe a child is certainly not acceptable.
I think that it is disgusting to hear young children being referred to as sexy and completely inappropriate. What I find worse though is actually having seen children's clothes in some stores emblazoned with such words as sexy and parents buying them for babies/toddlers ! It's just encouraging this seemingly new sick trend - one which I hope doesn't catch on.
