i have been advised not to keep jewellery in a roll wrap for long periods, can anyone tell me why? sorry not sure which section to post this in

they aren't sure. i thought it would help to keep it clean, so not sure why

I kept some gold jewellery in a roll wrap for aes without wearing it and it went a bit black and needed cleaning. It WAS gold by the way.
