This may be an old one, I don't know, but I just heard it, took me sometime to work it out.

If ten out of the eleven members of a team are out first ball, What is the number of the batsman not out?

8. first over bowled batsmen 1 3 4 5 6 7 are out, 8 comes in and a new over is bowled, batsmen 2 9 10 and 11 are bowled out.

I did know it already, I compile quizzes and have used it a few times, amazing how many get it wrong and STILL argue the point, lol!!

Strictly speaking it should read 'bowled out' first ball, as in some circumstances (such as being caught out) the batsmen can cross before the giving-out, making the sequence different.
