Buying a new duvet, but unsure what tog (warmth) rating is best. Looking for a general all season duvet (i.e. suitable for summer and winter) - what tog rating should I go for?

why not get one of the double layer duvets. Think they are usually a 5 tog and a 10 tog with fasten together with poppers to make a 15 tog winter duvet. Then you are covered for all seasons

Thanks redcrx. I had considered the option of the "double layer" duvet, but decided on the "single layer" duvet for all seasons - hence my question of what tog rating I should go for?
ah right, sorry.

Well really thatll be a personal choice then. My fella is happy with a 5tog all year round and has the bedroom window open all year round. This means that i need fleecy PJs etc just to keep warm.
When i lived on my own id rather have a 13 tog duvet all year and be over heated rather than too cold.
