You can use olive oil, for example,in huge amounts, and it's actually GOOD for you and your cardiovascular system. There are other healthy fats that you can look into.
Saturated fats are bad, as you know.
Particularly dangerous are the hydronated
palm, coconut, and cottonseed oils -they not only clog your veins, but also actually do damage to the vein and artery walls.
A couple more things, if I may.
1. Cheap vegetable oils burn at a low temperature. Burned oils are carcinogenic.
2. Make sure that your oils are not rancid, this is also carcinogenic.
3. You can keep your good oils in the fridge to keep them fresh. Another way would be to squeeze a vitamin E pill into your oil if you want to leave it at room temperature for a long period of time.
4. Read the ingredients on the food you're eating, and if you find yourself often reaching for a snack that you know is bad for you, then try to plan your snacks ahead of time to outsmart yourself.
