The appointed day for this has finally arrived and I nip in on wednesday, apparently its a cut at the top and bottom of the leg and pulll the old vein out but I was toild the knee may be stiff, how quickly should I be able to drive, surgeobn said 4 days but I am looking for others experience and how long should I expect to be in

I saw a new operation (on City Hospital last week) available for varicose veins where they insert a laser fibre up along the line of the vein and sealed it The man walked off the table and was able to go home the same day. This was done under local anaesthetic Sounds better than having them stripped
