can anyone remember a cartoon film caled 'Nobody's Boy' I remember renting the video back in the 80s for the kids (Okay I admit it we had a Betamax!!!) I'd like to get a copy for my 29 year old daughter!

There's a 1984 film called Nobody's Boy in some of the American movie databases (not IMDB) starring Jim Backus ( they don't say it was a cartoon, but he was the voice of Mr Magoo). That might be it, but no sign of a video or DVD unfortunately.

don't feel bad about having a beta - they did come out first after all so you were with the in-crowd originally. I had one too and recenly found a bought video i had bought for my dad and went to look at it only to find out it was beta - i was a scottish comedian called rikki fulton

I have tried unsuccesfully to locate the same cartoon for my 22 year old! I remember it being very depressing - everybody died in it - including the monkey! Very sadly I can also remember the theme tune. Happy hunting - I'll let you know if I have any luck.
