My brother is skint as per usual and only has �20 to budget for our mums birthday - which is today - but she's due back from being away tomorrow.

Any ideas i can try and convince with?!

He's 23 by the way....

Yeah thats a good idea....he's thinking of getting a book...but i've bought her books in the past and she never bothers reading them...i don't think.

I told him to get her flowers and chocolates....think all mums love those two!

or a gift voucher for some pampering, like a manicure, pedicure or massage? i'm sure any mum would be happy of a lil pampering.

take a picture of the family and put it in a nice frame, and buy some chocs this will please her and it is cheap, or get an old drawing he done when he was kid, get that framed,
