vw service light?

does anyone know how to reset the service light on my 1999 vw bora tdi? i know that some cars need a special tool ,others just need the indicator stalk messed with whilst turning ignition key etc. i serviced it myself, but can't get rid of the light. help?

If they`re the same as a golf its as follows.
With ignition off press and hold trip meter reset button
Switch on ignition and release trip meter button
Turn the know to reset the minute for the digital clock to the right. The display will return to normal
Turn off ignition and service light should be reset

up to 99, press and hold right hand button on dash, turn on ignition, the word oil will appear, release button, turn to right until - - - appears, turn off ignition. 99 to 00. press and hold right hand button, turn on ignition, the word service will appear, release button, turn left hand button to clear, turn off ignition.
