Leaving present ideas

My friend has been in england for about 3 months, and is flying out to central america for about 6 weeks...

Then she will be going back to Australia where she is from. bearing in mind I won't see her for a while and we are quite good mates...

what can I get her for a leaving present?

She has a rough guide for where she is going to. I thought about local currency, you know like mexican money or US$ ...

Or can any of you think of anything better?

What about a lil home-made scrap book about what she'll be leaving in England, you know like pics of her mates, double deckers, wrapper of favourite choc bar, dried flower (traditional english one), tickets if you've been anywhere together like cinema or theatre, that sorta thing.
