Hey guys,

I've really been getting into the Jay-Z linkin park album collision course, and as much as i like the two bands separately when you put them together they're awesome.

Can anyone recommend similar albums/artists that have the rap/rock vibe

Thanks in advance

Try Rage Against the Machine or the soundtrack to the film 'Judgement Night'.
Public Enemy springs to mind... But I have no idea why. Something is jogging my memory to say they were this kind of collaboration but frankly I can't remember... check it on youtube and see if I'm talking absolute bulls testicals.

House of Pains 'Jump Around' might also appeal.
Public Enemy are a straight rap band, but certainly one of the greatest ever. They have collaborated with a rock band in the past - Anthrax on 'Bring the Noize'. But that was a one-off i.e one track, not their whole output.

'Jump Around' certainly appealed to the rock crowd, but it is not a rock/rap fusion as such.
Thanks Rja... that's most likely the track that's nagging at the back of my tiny brain!

What about Limp Biscuit Brokey? Tried them? They might appeal... it's an outside change but they might... think might be a bit more rocky (ahem) than rappy tho.
go right back to the beginnings of rock/rap crossover and get yourself some Clawfinger!
How about Fort Minor or maybe even Beck?
Hey Brokey

Ya should try and find "The Grey Album" By Jay-Z and DJ Dangermouse (of Gnarls Barkley fame)

Its another hip-hop rock Mash Up, using the Beatles "White Album" as the mashup fodder.

Don't think it was ever fully released, but the internet is a wonderful wonderful thing ;-)
