Just been to a popular club in the west end

and omigod it was like a meat market! The women obviously dressed to attract the opposite sex, suggestive dancing, and the guys just grazing at the bars, staring, going for the most desirable female. Is it just me who finds this hilarious and so painfully contrived? Ok, so I was there too but honest to God just to have a few drinks and laughs with my friends. It was like one very elaborate mating ground with the two sexes performing these fitness rituals. How can anyone take this seriously?
I'd love to hear what others think about this!

The guys are all acting the "big I am" and the girls all brush past you like cats wanting their food! What's worse is the "Security Bouncers" I saw last night whispering into 14 year old girls ears who are sposed to be 18 year old girls! This is the legacy of the 2000 decade I think. Glad Beenee that you posted this question :)
Well done Beenee for slipping the net.Well paulb it's not a question in the true sense,as Beenee asked "what others think" this is asking for an opinion not an actual fact. How ever i am pleased to see that AB ED is allowing this now,as i for one would not bother to see whats on the site.I think peoples opinions on questions make for a more interesting overall view.
I've been to clubs like that as well and it makes me feel sick. My advice is try 'alternative' music clubs, there are no clubs in existence where people aren't checking out potential partners but at least at the rock clubs I go to it is more subtle, there isn't the same pressure on women to wear revealing clothes and most people are there because of the music first and the 'talent' second.
