does anyone know which batch was faulty ,have had my ghd for five years.Need phone number to check.

why don't you goto the website and contact them? if you've had them for 5 years then there's really nothing you can do about it is there??

There is actually...it's nothing to do with the age...if they are faulty,they are faulty. Mine were about 4 years old and were replaced in February after the wires burnt out. I had them looked at by 2 electricians who said they were dangerous and wrote a nice,polite letter. Not sure of the batch number but your local GHD stockist can help.Mine did...they sent them for me. Good luck.
