Still a problem with Maria

I went to a preview of The Sound Of Music at The London Palladium last night and, although Connie does a perfectly good job in the leading role, I personally don't find her sufficiently appealing in looks or presence to convince me she could win the heart of Captain Von Trapp. In fact, I almost wished he'd stayed with the Baroness. I think it's a crying shame the infinitely more appealing Aoife wasn't picked for the leading role. If you go see it, say what you think.

er, no, woodchopper. in fact she's so boyish that i suspect it might be the other way round

i am a bit disapointed she is not very good? my wife wants to go and see it but the sound of music has never done it for me??
