Good morning everyone

Can someone explain to a keen ,but simple- minded , "wordbuff" the object of the Scrabble puzzle.
Do you have to get the target points exactly or is that the minimum score you aim for?
(Haven't seen a question on DT Scrabble on the site yet)

Thanks

The object is to get the target score or higher. The answer is usually the exact target score, as the compiler carefully places letters to prevent higher scores being achieved. I find the best way of tackling the Scrabble is to work out the possible placement of letters to get the target score and then arrange the letters into an acceptable word.

Good luck.

Love the limerick! If I come across a competition for composing them I'll let you know - you've obviously got a flair for them.
