For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ."Club Moss" you're asking!? It's a lycopod(?) - like Stag's Horn ( which I have heard of). Needless to say - No one predicted THAT! So no full marks this week.
However, some ABers did spot the other three link words. Those to spot them FIRST (and therefore picking up a bonus point) were Aquagility (for VILLAGE green), pjwillcox(for Bomb SHELL) and ulysses100 (for RING Fence).
Surprisingly, no entry was able to string TWO or more of these remaining link words together - so no stars this week. The three named above for their bonus points, each scored two points and 10 others picked up one point for a solitary hit! The remaining 39 entires scored ZERO points!
Tenter, bridgenut and lysander all moved off zero scores (well done), and of the front runners last week, O-ice, chris and jan1956 failed to build onto their good start. Only yelsel was able to increase his/her score (from 3 to 4 points). In fact, only 10 of those entering were able to score in both rounds!
After two rounds, who are the front runners? Well on 4 points yelsel has joined ontarioice as joint leaders. Following close behind on 3 points, we still have chriss and jan1956, but they are now joined by Aquagility, gen2, Magyar, pjwillcox and ulysses100. There are 11 ABers on 2 points with everything to play for!
One good week could swing it! I would guess that an end-of-month score into double figures will be quite an achievement!
My assessment this week? Even without CLUB MOSS - this was a deceptively difficult sequence to predict. There were too many options available to the creative mind!
