Hi. I've got my test on Thursday, and have just noticed that the DSA website says I need:

"an extra rear-view mirror in the vehicle that is suitable for the examiner to use."

Is this true? How can I do this?

Cheers

It also says something about needing a head restraint????
Have you got a vanity mirror on your sun blind. If you look closely at the picture of girl and tester it is on show.
Yes this is true, when I did my test I bought one and stuck it just beside the original rear view mirror.

Try ebay for these
Get one from Halfords, very cheap.
You can get one from Halfords - with a suction cup - sometimes found in child seat/accessories section as they come in handy when you have kids - to see if they're sticking their tongues out at you whilst your're trying to concentrate on the road !

Also the car must be roadworthy - obviously- and if the examiner thinks the car is not for any reason he can pull the plug on the test.
Good luck Scooby, I have mine tomorrow! Am pooing it
