My rabbit does all his wees in the bed compartment of his hutch so he has to sleep in the open. He only goes in there to wee so maybe he's shy LOL! This is his first winter so I'm concerned that he's going to get cold because his hutch is outside. Has anyone got any suggestions on how to encourage him to change his "toilet" to another part of his hutch?

hi the best thing to do is to first put a litter tray where he dose his business ,that will make it easyer to clean him out, rabbit are very clean animals so if he is doing is business were he is that is good. as for keeping him warm add lots of hay that way he can cuddle up under it. rabbits have a good way of keeping themselves warm.
My rabbit always used to do this when he was kept in a hutch i never understood why they did it in the cosy bedroom part. There are some rabbit litter crystals i saw in the pet shop which when you put them down in a certain area it attracts the rabbit to do its business there...maybe worth a try?
