There are lots of training strategies that can be used, what level of training is she at? Does she come when you call her, off of the lead? Like I said, a bit more info would help.....How old is she?

There may not be anything you can do. It may just be how she is. A friends of mine has a german shepherd that will go for bitches only, she has been very well trained but she still does this. Training can help but the best thing to do is keep her on a lead when out if she goes for other dogs. How old is your staffy? We socialised our puppy staffy from a very young age with as many different breeds of dogs as possible (many of my friends and family have dogs so this was quite easy) and he is now great with other dogs. Im more worried about him being attacked than him attacking anyone else!
I own a staffie which I rescued at 15months old,its absolutely brilliant with children and adults loves being fussed ,but it does not like other dogs,I took him I took him for a days training with a police dog trainer and he introduced me to the gentle leader you can get them at pets for you, you put them round the dogs mouth and neck fastens just behind the ears, and thn the lead connects to the coller and the gentle leader,so that when you approach another dog you are in full control, tell it to leave sternly and yank a little on the gentle leader towards you, then praise him when he gets passed the dog in question, use plenty of treats, he still does'nt like other dogs but he does walk pass them now,we never let him off the lead, unless theres not another dog in sight,
Hiya, I have a 7 Month old bitch and she's exactly the same . I think if you let them get used to other dogs from an early age it is better. i just show my authority when she's on the lead and i let her off the lead on open fieldsand she's great! I think as long as your strong with your voice he/she will get there in the end.
hi,there is nothing worse than you putting yrs of training into a dog only to find it is still the same when taken out.We have had dogs for 30plus yrs and they are all different.
We mainly have GSD's and i have worked them on obiediance, search work and companion work, but if a dog is going to naughty to another dog that he or she just doesnt like, then the head/haltie collar IS your best option. In a nutshell.its power stearing for us.You have the whole of the dogs weight in your hand rather than the dog haveing its FULL body weight against you.I know this was a mail from a while ago,but i just thought i would add my bit, best regards, hope you have it under control,
