How is it possible to receive so many TV channels without cable or satellite?

The reason ON Digital can receive so many channels is all down to bandwidth. Normal analogue transmissions have a large bandwidth. Digital, however, has a bandwidth that is very small, so it is possible to transmit many channels all at the one time.
