Wedding reception with a difference!

My daughter and her fiance are just starting to arrange their wedding . They would like their reception to be different to the norm. It will be held in a marquee on our farm. Any good ideas anyone?

Have a "diary room" where people can go in and leave video messages for you that you can have as a keepsake.
Leave disposable cameras on the tables so the guests can take piccies themselves. Make sure you make it clear that they are to be left so people don't nick off with them.
My friends did a wedding album with each page marked with a space for a photo and passed it round all the guests with a disposal camera so they could write a personal message in for them and take a pic of themselves to put in the space once they developed the film.

What about something like a hog roast rather than a normal sit down meal where you can do loads of roast potatoes and such. We did this in a barn for my exes brother's birthday, did up a barn with fairy lights and such and old sofas and comfy chairs and music and had a bonfire outside with fireworks.
