You local library will probably have a variety of books about setting up your own business and it's a good idea to wade through some of them with a notepad and pencil because you will probably come across a whole host of issues which probably have not occured to you. You will also find examples of easily made mistakes because of ignorance, so some time spent reading and researching such issues will probably save you a lot of anguish later. Meanwhile, while you're waiting to start the business, try and save as much money as possible to help you through the initial trading period because it's a well known fact that most new businesses have a very lean period from an income point of view until they are established.
