Shaney, Crimson is 7 letters. I suspect the question setter may erroneously be looking for Purple, a common misnomer.

Yes, Bri Write, my first colour for the VC ribbon was purple (probably subconsciously thinking of Purple Heart, but Google gave several colours which appear to have been used over the years.

The official VC ribbon colour is crimson so if you cross (6) out and put (7) crimson the compilers should accept that answer as that is the correct one.
