Indoor Palm Tree

We have an indoor palm (don't know the kind but it's a single stem, tall, thin, with long thing leaves; there are 2 in the pot). It is growing too tall and fallling over as the top is too heavy for the trunk. What can I do? Lauri

Sounds like you need to repot it in a much larger pot, also give it a haircut!

ok. how do I give it a haircut? on palms, the dead leaves fall of from the bottom up and the new growth forms at the top.
