Time lapse video

I want to make a time lapse video using my laptop and a webcam. I want to take a picture every 2 seconds or so. Does anyone know a programme or settings I can use to do this? cheers

This program lets you do what you want. You can try it for free but you'll get a watermark on your images. However, it only costs $10 to register it (and get rid of the watermark), so it, if you like it, it still seems to be good value:
