to octavious- i meant taking into account this country is in, all the refugees and asylum seekers, terrorists, corrupt government and politicians i would not fight , no. in ww2 they had a common foe, they knew who the enemy was- things were a lot different back then.
i am no coward, i was a bouncer, debt collector and baliff to name a few, i have seen some nasty things but, before you spark on, i know these jobs are a lot diiferent to actually being on a front line having to kill people that have nothing themselves.
in nazi germany the enemy was obvious- these days wed probably have more of the enemy on our own side than we were fighting against...
as for why should i have freedom if i wasnt prepared to fight for it, well if things were threatening me or my country personally (as in ww2) i would fight no question, but asking me to go abroad and fight people who have nothing to begin with and risk my life is in my opinion pointless- let them sort their own problems out.
p.s read this carefully before you reply as i dont want to have to repeat myself.
