Social Care theory to Practice

i am on student work placement and i am working in a youth service. as part of the portfolio that i have to submit to college i have to link social care theory to practice in relation to youth work in ireland. can any1 help me?!

This should let you look at how the youth service that you are working in is attempting to address these needs in young people. I would guess that your service is involved in some sort of structured group or one to one work that is focussing on increasing young people's self-esteem and confidence.
You could also speak to some of the heid honchos in Comm Ed tofind out what they see are the core values in their social care values and then explore how (or if) these values are being put into practice day to day. E.g. they will prob say that inclusion at the heart of all their agendas but are you seeing inclusion of all young people day to day at your placement etc etc.
I have just completed an Inclusion: Policy in to Practice qualification so I know where you are coming from! hope this helps!
