Frozen Mouse

What could be the problem or the fix on a mouse that will not move at all? Resetting, unplugging ctrl.alt.delete
all the normal things do not work. Cannot go to control panel or anywhere with frozen mouse, to try something new. Thanks for any and all help.

If you have a windows keyboard there will be at least one key with the Windows symbol (sort of four squares in a diamond pattern).

This will open the start menu and the control panel.

Press ctrl and c and then you navigate the panel using your keyboard arrows.

Ctrl and Esc will also open the start menu.

Have you by any chance dropped your mouse? They don't like being dropped - I had to get a new one!.

No mouse not dropped. Tried another and same thing.
