UPVC Porch

Have just finished building a 2mx1m porch in UPVC ,it has a solid concrete floor ,poly carbonate roof and 20mm double glazing .I've noticed that i get some condensation on the glass .Unfortunatly i do not have any opening windows owing to its size .Any ideas how i can stop this . Regards

Hi Ray, Presumably the condensation is on the inside of the porch.
If you have enough room at the top of the windows, by that I mean the profile, then maybe you can get slimline vents to put in.
Measure the amount of profile shoing from ceiling to glass and you should find a vent suitable. These vents come in about 4 different lengths so make sure you do not get one too big ( lengthwise )
You drill a series of holes through the profile and fix the vents on. They have an open and shut position and in the open position may help with your problem. It is a standard procedure nowadays and new houses should have them fitted in the bedrooms, so if you look around at other windows in your street youy will see what I mean.
