Love the one you're with?

Is it at all advisable to stay in a relatively new relationship with a partener, whom is marvelous in so very many ways & loves you, even when your despirately in love with another, & the logistics of a relationship with the 'other' aside from a sacred freindship are somewhat difficult?

No it is not fair on the one you are with,if you don't love them,why are you with them? you are being deceptive,are you just keeping your options open,? oh well he will do if it don't workout with X, sorry if I sound a bit harsh, but do you think you are being fair ? xx

yes, you're absolutly correct I am being deceptive. & I'm curious to know if I could grow to love the one I'm with more than I do already, in all the ways they love me? Does love work that way? I dont feel as though I am being fair & I know he would say "gimme a chance" if I raise this

I suppose it is possible that you could grow to love somebody,it doesn't come overnight does it, but if you feel you are with a "second best" that is not fair on either of you is it, are you happy the way things are ? how would he feel if you told him your feelings ? what would you do if the other one sudddenly declared undying love for you ? would you just drop your present partner like a hot potato ? that could destroy somebody, How do you feel about the one you are with,do you think you may love him? or as I said before are you just biding your time in the hope it will work with X. you have a lot of thinking to do ,good luck, Ray xx

Hey Ray, how are you this fine evening?
thanks for that, was truly a corker of a track, yes I do think I love the one Im with, he is so fantastic a real all rounder, nothing like second best! In fact Im pretty sure the other would have trouble holding a candle to him. & Im positive if the decleared his undying love for me I would continue as I am, i am eternally grateful for his friendship even though he has little or no time for my man. I do feel indebted to him, however pehaps it is time for a little distance between myself & the other? He is a dear friend & I would hate for him to feel pushed aside in the freindship stakes XxX

Many thanks for you help Ray! you gave me some serious thinking to do, & I am truly grateful, as I was being tremendiously self involved in my original thinking. & during the course of our conversation I have come to appreciate the one I with in many different ways. & if Im honest I didn't expect any response that would have aided me the way yours did.
