What shall I read?

Looking for a new author to start reading, can anyone suggest someone I might enjoy. My current favorites are James Patterson, Karin Slaughter, Patricia Cornwall, Kathy Reichs, Tess Gerritsen but I have already read everything by them. Thanks in advance

Gives you all the latest books in any genre and most have a brief synopsis.
If you like what I call village murder a la Christie you might enoy M. C. Beatons Agatha Raisin series , Veronica Heley's Ellie Quicke series or the Oxford series by Veronica Stallwood.

My own favourite in this genre (alas, I have now finished the series up-to-date) are the Eve Dallas novels by J D Robb (a pen-name of Nora Roberts, whose other works, curiously, don't inspire me). Essential to read the first three ( of over twenty) in order, so that you get to know the really interesting characters that pervade the series from then on.
I like all your favourites, and have just finished reading a book a friend lent me called 'Retribution' by Jilliane Hoffman. It's along the same lines as Patrica Cornwell and Kathy Reichs, and I really enjoyed it. Linda Farstein is also good, although quite similar to Kathy Reichs. Someone I also really like is Lisa Gardner, who has written about 8/9 fiction books with the 'serial killer' theme!
